Addiction refers to the compulsive relationship with different substances or activities. Addiction to alcohol, drugs, drugs and nicotine, for example, is a substance addiction. Game and internet addiction, for example, is a functional addiction.
What do you think about addiction? Almost everyone knows someone who has problems but they might not have discussed about it. Being open to discuss about the problems is better than keeping it secret. Do you recognize any addiction within yourself? If you recognize, think about how it affects you and your immediate circle.
Medicines:
Medicines may develop a strong dependency, both chemical and psychological. For example, sedatives have a higher risk of addiction than alcohol. Withdrawal symptoms can be serious, even life-threatening.
Gambling addiction:
Game addiction is a functional addiction, in which the addict experiences a strong desire or compulsive need to play either gambling or playing digital games. This addiction causes a variety of serious social, physical and mental symptoms. Gambling often causes financial difficulties as well.
The gaming world requires a gaming eye. For most young people, gambling is not a problem. Lottery games include lotteries, slot machines, scratch cards, betting, casino games and toddler games. It is forbidden for them to play under the age of 18.
If your loved one has an addiction problem, it would be good if you have the courage to intervene. Your own addiction problem also needs to be addressed quickly. The earlier you seek help, the better. Anyone concerned about the situation can intervene. No one is capable of changing alone. If the problem persists, it will usually get worse and worse.
